What a gift to relive this moment and really see and feel the crowds reactions. So much goodness here, I had to share.

Had the absolute honor and pleasure of sharing my art at Heartland Gathering 2026 and Wow! What an incredible group of humans. From the production team and facilitators to participants and experience design. Every little moment was held with such intention and care but also with so much trust for the magic of the moment to unfold. I am in awe of what was co-created. Still riding the high of the beauty I experienced on that land.

There is a thread I have been following for a long time,
though I am only now finding more words for it.

A return to the body.
To our inner nature.
To movement, touch, tattoo, sensuality, expression.
To the fierce, the tender, the playful and the wild.

These themes have woven themselves through my life and work for years,
and lately I have been reflecting on what might live beneath them.

Perhaps it is a remembering of ways of meeting ourselves through ritual, embodiment, art, elements, devotion and community.

Of ancient ways of relating to the body not as something to control,
but as something to listen to.

I feel drawn to walk this path more consciously.
Not as a title, or something I have mastered,
but as a way of listening, learning and serving.

One initiation, one body, one encounter at a time.

I am delighted to announce our second Muse of the season, the epic Casey Lee. A 14 year old student and a teacher of the flames (yes real fire baby). She is the founder of Sacred Flames and this is her very first podcast 😏

In this episode she shares the immensity of what this journey with leadership, fire, performance and community has taught her over the years.

From the hula hoop as her first boundaries, to learning how to sip our intensity, having our leadership behavior revealed by the fire and the group dynamic, to renegotiate the contracts we never sign and learning to trust ourself deeply.

That episode is for women who lead and wanna find out how to do it from the deep listening of the body.

The hardest part about making crowns is getting the frame right.

I remember years ago when I made my first crown, I was walking around the Ubud Market sticking bowls on my head while the local Balinese women would giggle at me saying “no no! That’s for eating!” 😂

Eventually I found a woven cap and put that on and thought, “this is it!” The rest is history.

I’ve been working on a project for a stilt walking character and had no idea where to really begin… sometimes I’m working with a lot of scrap pieces of material or appliqués that don’t really know what they want to be yet and it can be overwhelming when you aren’t starting with a clear vision. it’s always helpful to start with a solid piece that can help inform and inspire the overall look and direction you want to go in and i love making crowns so I thought that would be a good place to start and viola, this beauty was born ✨

I’m excited to see her put together with the rest of the costume. I’ll share that soon but first she has a debut appearance to make at @omya.community annual Heartland Gathering.

You have a safe place by my side. 🌹

I am the kind of woman who celebrates your light without ever fearing my own. Because I know that when I choose to shine, it doesn’t take light from anyone else…

If anything, I hope it reminds someone else of their own.

And maybe that’s how we change the world?
By tending our own flame so faithfully that it naturally lights the way for another.

If my fire reminds you of yours, then this dance has done its job.

This week, I met the places where I still apologized for my aliveness.

Where I soften my edges before anyone asked…Where I edit my truth before it reaches my lips and where I mistake shrinking for kindness. Holly wow

My work with fire is all about creating safe space for women to be seen in their bigness, so of course that is going to be some of my deepest work here on this planet 🫠

I am a permission portal! I have been told this time and time again.

But I realized I’ve been quietly asking myself “who is that for me?” And the answer is…

I AM! It’s me! I cannot wait for it outside of me… The space I was waiting to be invited into has always mine to occupy!

Embodiment will always an inside job… and the choice to inhabit our fullness belongs to each of us.

None of us can give another person permission to become who they are. We can only create conditions where it becomes easier. We can offer safety, invitation, love and presence. Building spaces for ourselves and each other where truth has more space to breathe.

But life won’t always offer us the perfect conditions… So some of our deepest work will be learning to create those conditions inside ourselves.

I’m just landing on the other side of Sapience retreat and am leaving with a deeper devotion to staying with myself… to trusting my own presence, allowing others to have their experience of me and no longer translating my soul into smaller language.

Here’s to becoming less edited 🙌🏼

Here’s to remembering the size I’ve always been… Ever evolving in shape but always BIG!
