Every year I go back to this photo and feel the absolute joy of that moment.

You are a gift. To me, to the world around us. My love for you is eternal, boundless, and unwavering. Thank you, mama.

❤️ HVD ❤️
We do have a handful of walk-in flowers left for you and yours today.

The two of us had so much fun yesterday and felt so loved. Happy to be here. Thank you, love you, mean it.

We’re doing a ❤️ Valentine’s Day ❤️ pop-up with @sacredthistle flowers on Friday the 13th (eek)

Most of what’s available will be first come first serve, but we will open a handful of pre-orders for $150 vase arrangements tomorrow at noon on the Sacred Thistle site.

Walk in flowers will be smaller vase arrangements (think $50-$75), bud vases and paper wraps.

All pre-orders will be available for pick up during Inheritance business hours on the 13th.

It’s taken a lot of conversation and deliberation to decide whether we close or stay open for the strike.

Ultimately, Inheritance (alongside @sacredthistle ) has and will continue to stand in support of our neighbors and community, in solidarity with abolishing ICE. Our hearts ache and we grieve for the lack of humanity that’s been displayed.

We’ve been open less than 3 months in a time that feels bold to start a new business - and we certainly feel it. In lieu of closing, we’d like to offer our space as a place for rest, inspiration, or you can write a letter to your senator tomorrow on our post cards and we’ll mail them for you at no cost.

We’d like to stay here. We’d like to grow alongside our community.

No obligation to buy anything, and 20% of our sales tomorrow will be donated to @casadepazco Cash ~preferred~ but not required.

We love you, we stand with you.

Here’s what we’re always aiming for: design that looks good, feels natural, and makes the space feel welcoming from the moment guests sit down.

Ready to take your ideas and turn them into something beautiful? Let’s make a plan.
