It was an absolute honor to be trusted with this role by barnstormers. This role meant a lot to me personally and really challenged me as an actor, I also couldn’t have had a better group of people around me to experience the beauty of this show with.

Shoutouts to Shannon the director of this production I learned so much from her and couldn’t have asked for someone better to work for.

As for my cast and crew mates, can’t wait to see you goons again real soon‼️‼️

And cut. That was the last one. And though it was tiring and caused some burn out, I am happy that I did it. My first musical. And hopefully not my last. Lots of glitter that I may never get off. Lots of dancing and maybe some falling. But at the end of it all, it was fun. I met new people and gotten closer to some. I appreciate everyone for being so welcoming and making this experience one of the best. And of course, thank you to my sister @sad_beetle for being there with me and helping with so much. And also thank you to my mom, @infinitelife.ginn for joining in on the fun, even by teching in the back. You do so much and we appreciate you. I love this theatre and I hope to do more with them if they let me.

Well folks, Anastasia closed a week ago. How's everyone holding up? 😅

I am grateful. My heart mourns that we've taken our final bows on the Anastasia stage, but this cast, crew, and story make my heart glad to have been along for such a lovely ride.

Amazing. Astonishing. Alive.

Honestly, being a part of this production has been one of the most enriching and positive experiences in my life. If you had told me 6 months ago that I'd be singing and dancing on stage in a musical, I would have laughed. About a year ago I was struggling pretty badly with depression, anxiety, rejection sensitivity, and my physical, social, mental and spiritual health were not doing so great. I still have rough days, who doesn't? But they are fewer and far between.

Thankfully with a lot of prayer, therapy, and emotional support from mostly my incredible wife Katie @flora.plantrants , I endured and came out the other side.

Better. Bolder. Braver.

I gave everything I had to this show. My voice, my time, my pain, my soul. I felt called and inspired to come out of my shell, push through the social anxiety, and for the first time in a long time, give 110% to a creative community project that stretched my abilities. Who knew so many of my dormant seldom ever used skills would translate so well to live theater? Besides playing gigs with my band, believe it or not, this was my first time performing on stage since highschool. (Class of 2010 woot woot, where my millennials at? Haha)

The long nights. The late rehearsals. Learning and relearning how to read sheet music and sing harmonies in an ensemble. (Shout-out to Josh, Lill, and Jacob for literally being the best Tenor Bros ever.)

Choreography. Costumes. Curtain Call.

Thank you so much to everyone at @oneeleventheatre for pouring your hearts and souls into this show. Tiana, Erica, Rachel, Kristin, Brandon, Stephanie, Emily, Tyler, Ron, John, the list goes on and on. To all cast and crew reading this. You made this a healing and invigorating experience for me, and countless others.

Let me have a moment, let me say goodbye 💜👑

The story of Anastasia moved me every night and I didn’t get tired of the songs even when they stayed stuck in my head for hours. I had the honor of assisting with costumes which taught me so much about the work required to produce a show. Best of all, I got to perform alongside a cast of talented, kind, hilarious, dedicated, welcoming people! I made amazing new friends and reconnected with old ones I hadn’t shared the stage with in years. Thank you to everyone who took part in the show or came to support it! These past few months have been so special and I won’t forget the home, love, and family we found together.

It’s so hard to say goodbye to Anastasia. 💔✨

This show has been such a beautiful chapter of my life—one that I’ll carry with me long after the curtain call. I’m heartbroken that it’s over, but so incredibly grateful that I got to be part of something so special.

And the people… this cast became my family in ways I didn’t expect. Every laugh backstage, every quiet moment before going on, every memory we created together means more to me than I can even put into words. I’m going to miss you all so much.

It’s taken me a little while to think how I’m able to wrap this show up in one post. I still don’t know if this will ever be enough to express just how much this show has meant to me, but I’m hoping a few shoutouts will cover some bases.

I first want to shoutout and thank the dream team of Sarah, Sarah, and Preston for entrusting me with this role of a lifetime and doing everything they could to make this show and this experience so memorable and incredible! Whenever y’all get together again, I’m there! ❤️

To Laura and Kristen, for putting up with all of our shenanigans and loving us regardless. Not only that but putting your all in every single show, and making sure that this show was at its best each and every night! I adore you both so much, and I can’t wait for the next adventure that comes our way! 💛

You all have a special place in my heart and I cannot wait to work with you all again! You made every night acting with you so easy, so fun, and above all just so special! Wow what a great run ❤️ This has to be the best cast ever. I cannot believe it’s over I made so many great memories and amazing friendships that I hope can carry on for a lifetime! ✨ I’m forever greatful for this opportunity to be apart of Descendants the musical 🍎 I’ll miss you guys so much 😔❤️
