Here are some WAFCON Predictions!

Who do you have lifting the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations trophy🏆

#sportsonthegowithneto #wafcon2026 #superfalcons

Faj Sports- Winner: Nigeria
Surprise package: Ghana

Golden Boot: Barbra Banda (Zambia)

Golden Ball: Esther Okoronkwo (Nigeria)

Golden Gloves: Chiamaka Nnadozie (Nigeria)

As multiple time winners, Nigeria remain my favourites because of their tournament experience.

Ghana could be the surprise package if they build on their recent progress and catch one of the bigger teams off guard.

Barbra Banda is one of Africa’s most prolific forwards and is currently in form and having a good season.

Esther Okoronkwo has the quality to influence games consistently, making her a good pick for Player of the Tournament.

Chiamaka Nnadozie is the continent’s best goalkeepers for three years in a row and could win the Golden Gloves if Nigeria makes a deep run.

Dipo- Winner: Nigeria. They enter as defending champions and still look like the most complete side in the field.

Surprise package: Cape Verde. They are one of the newer teams in the competition, so a strong group-stage run would make them the biggest breakout story.

Golden Boot: Asisat Oshoala. If she’s in form, Nigeria’s attacking depth gives her the best chance to lead the scoring chart.

Golden Ball: Barbra Banda. Zambia’s star power and match-winning influence make her a strong candidate for the tournament’s best player award.

Golden Gloves: Chiamaka Nnadozie. Nigeria’s defensive structure and her reputation as a top shot-stopper make her my pick for best goalkeeper.

Samson- Winner - Super Falcons of Nigeria (of course)

Surprise package: Ghana (a great squad rebuild in recent years)

Golden boot: Ghizlane Chebbak of Morocco (though my heart says Esther Okoronkwo of Super Falcons)

Golden ball: Esther Okworonko ⚽ (Rasheedat Ajibade will also be a top contender)

Golden Gloves: Chiamaka Nnadozie 🧤

Top 10? Not this time. Top 35? Absolutely! 🎉💙

Out of over hundreds of exceptional nominees, we were selected as one of the top 35 finalists. This allowed us to be a participant of the Luminary Impact Accelerator.

We're grateful to have been recognized among the Top 35 at the @the_luminaryproject Awards. Although we didn’t emerge as top 10, we are grateful to have been part of the accelerator, a structured program that allowed us to refine our impact strategy, strengthen our model and prepare us for sustainable.

We are thankful to our partnerships and grants associate @sadams_22 for representing PAGE Africa Initiative at the event! 💙💙

Thank you Luminary Project💙
