there’s a moment you know…

Spring awakening has been a life-changing show for me since I first found out about it (peep the pic of me and ryan when I was 13) and getting to put it on with this amazing group of people and my best friends has been so amazing, especially in my last semester of college. I’ve truly loved every minute of it, and I’m so happy that this story was able to be told, especially in the state our world is in. I love you all! Purple summer forever 💜

we’ll wander down, where the winds sigh 💐

wow, my heart is so full of pride, love, and pure joy for this crew of people. getting to do this project as my directorial debut has been absolutely nothing short of a dream. about 2-3 years ago, i remember @lilazehava and i doing whatever dumb decisions we were making at whatever party and i ended up saying that i was highly considering doing an independent production of spring awakening and i actually cannot believe it has been brought to life. i remember when it was official that we would be doing this show, i got so many mixed reactions from peers, faculty, and family due to the content of the show which at first filled me with so much anxiety and fear that not enough people would audition or not enough people would enjoy the vision for the show i had. this fear immediately went away after we ended up casting the show and i genuinely could not have asked for a better group of humans to work with as my first directorial project. this show has absolutely changed my life for the better and i hope that i get an opportunity to come back to this show at some point in my life. i’ve definitely picked up the directorial habit of rambling on so i’ll just leave it at that, i love you spring awakening cast and crew, thank you for changing my life.
