This is the superyacht ZEUS, and it’s one of the more recognizable large yachts in the Mediterranean. Here are some details about her: * Length: 74.5 meters (244 feet) * Builder: Blohm+Voss * Launched: 1991 * Designer: Martin Francis * Guests: Up to 12–14 guests * Crew: About 21 crew members * Top speed: Approximately 35 knots (40 mph / 65 km/h), unusually fast for a yacht this size. Here is some information about her : One of her most interesting features is her propulsion system. Besides two large diesel engines, she also has a gas turbine engine, similar in concept to those used in aircraft, which gives her exceptional speed but also makes her very fuel-hungry. The yacht is widely reported to be owned by John Christodoulou, a billionaire real-estate investor based in Monaco. Earlier owners reportedly included Larry Ellison and members of the Barclay family. A fun detail: when she was owned by Larry Ellison, the aft deck was converted into a basketball court, replacing an earlier platform designed for a seaplane to land. It’s is docked in front of the @fsathens, Athens Riviera. #spotted, #athensgreece #athensriviera
