“Red Eyed and Reekin’” is available everywhere you get music!

My little brother Graydon wrote this song. It was his mantra. I put it out for him posthumously. I hope you’ll toke and joke to it! He certainly did. He possessed wild and youthful energy.

This is the second single from my forthcoming rock ‘n’ roll record “Lifeguard” You can buy the current version of the full length LP only on @bandcamp It was co - produced by @sadiew0lfe and @battyjunior Engineered by @fuzzycatrecords Made possible in part with a Live Music Grant from @austinacme The record will drop everywhere before Thanksgiving. As a tribute to him.

Cover art by @ec_folk
It is an adaptation of a hand drawn portrait of my little brother by Bobby Hollis. That portrait hangs in my Mom’s house still. Along with fellow drawings of his siblings that he left behind.

I’m playing at @ausairport this Friday at 11am. Check the tour!

This one got me. 🌻

I reached out to Chaz at SunFlower & Friends to see if they could sponsor community tickets for Entre Dos Cielos. He said he wished he could.

A few hours later, he messaged me back. They’d just had a big sale in the music shop, and now he could do it.

To say I was surprised is an understatement. Something good happened for the shop, and his first thought was to pass it along.

Who does that?

Someone who knows how hard it is to be a musician, run a music shop, and keep a music school going. Someone who still finds a way to make room for other people.

That’s the spirit of Lockhart. We may not always have a lot, but we offer what we can. And together, it adds up to something beautiful.

So let’s make sure these tickets find a home! Want to see the show, but money is tight? Chaz Bessette and the folks at SunFlower & Friends have got you. ❤️

Visit cirquevida.com, select the Community Invite ticket, and enter code community to reserve your free ticket. Come see the spirit and soul of Lockhart onstage through circus, dance, and live music celebrating Texas and Mexico.

October 9 & 10 at 8 PM
October 11 at 3 PM
Gerry Ohlendorf Performing Arts Center at Lockhart High School

Reserve your tickets: https://cirquevida.com

Thank you, Chaz and SunFlower & Friends, for passing the good along
