Teaching has always been one of my greatest passions, and yesterday was another special opportunity to share what I love through Janice Hung’s Action Lab. 🎬🥊

It was truly an honor to teach Basic Hand-to-Hand Cinematic Fight Choreography to the candidates of Mr. & Ms. Chinatown Global Philippines 2026. I hope you were able to learn something valuable from the workshop, not only about movement and performance, but also about discipline, timing, control, and confidence in front of the camera. More than the techniques, I hope they take with them the confidence to keep learning, the discipline to keep improving, and the courage to step outside their comfort zones.

Thank you so much to Chinoy TV and President Alvin Tan for having me and for giving me the opportunity to share my experience with this amazing group.

To all the candidates, I hope you learned something valuable from our time together. Believe in yourselves, enjoy the journey, and give your best in the competitions ahead. I’ll be cheering for all of you. ❤️🔥

High kicks, fast combinations, and a little unfinished business. 👊🔥

I love creating fight choreography that combines different martial arts, but Wushu will always be the foundation of how I move.

In real self defense, the goal isn’t to stay and fight. Stay aware, create distance, protect yourself, and get to safety whenever possible.

But that phone call at the end? 📱👀
Something tells me this is only the beginning.

Behind the scenes for Lumièr. 🎬🥋

Before the cameras roll, we work through the blocking, timing, reactions, and choreography so everyone knows exactly what will happen in the fight scene.

For me, fight choreography is not just about making the action look exciting. It’s also about making sure every movement is clear, controlled, and safe for the actors involved.

Always fun being able to share what I know and help bring the action to life on screen. 🔥

Dragged these two around Hannam with me and somehow we ended up taking photos everywhere 😂🤍 Megan was pretending she didn’t want pictures, Reina found every cute corner before I did, and I was just happy we had a free afternoon together.

Rainy afternoon in Seongsu ☔️🖤
We thought we’d just grab coffee and walk around for a bit… then Seoul decided to rain on us. Somehow the unplanned days always become the ones we remember most. 🌧️✨

Wushu is more than speed and power. It’s the discipline to master every movement, the courage to rise after every fall, and the determination to keep improving every single day.

Train with purpose. Move with confidence. Never stop growing.

Keep pushing forward, Warriors! 🥋🔥

The 180 Kick is more than a technique. It’s a lesson in balance, focus, and commitment.

Master the basics, and the difficult becomes possible. Keep training, Warriors! 💙

Design Evolution of Shadow Herald

From the 2020 Omega Bot to the 2026 Shadow Herald.

Looking back at the early concepts, the original design leaned toward a futuristic combat android. As the world of Metadroid evolved, so did its mythology. The Shadow Herald became something far more unsettling—a living manifestation of Omega’s will, formed from corrupted Meta energy and living shadow.

This comparison marks the journey from machine to myth.

Omega Empire’s Shadow Herald

An early concept exploration for one of Metadroid’s most mysterious entities.

Created as a mixed-media illustration on textured paper, combining watercolor washes, ink sketching, and painting to explore silhouette, mood, and presence before final production.
