Just a senior lab and his favorite puddle again. 💛 We've had so much rain here his puddle is full again! Normally its dry during the summer. He is living his best life and enjoying it again.

Am I excited for all the goodies at SuperZoo? Um, hell yeah! But what I’m looking forward to most is learning.

I want to hear different perspectives, discover new ideas, ask lots of questions, and come home with knowledge that helps Rubes live his best life. Whether it’s trail safety, nutrition, mobility, gear, or wellness, every conversation is a chance to learn something new.

Even when I don’t end up agreeing with every opinion or recommendation, I still think there’s value in understanding what’s out there. The more informed we are, the better choices we can make.

What would you want to learn most about at one of the biggest pet conventions in the country? 😊

Rubble on the Double…11! 🚧💛🎂

Eleven years ago, I had no idea one little red Aussie would begin building a life so full of love.

Over the years, he’s built so much more than memories. He’s built traditions, friendships, laughter, comfort on hard days, adventures I never expected, and a community that has celebrated every milestone right alongside us.

Yesterday, he proudly supervised a real construction site with the biggest smile. Today, he took his birthday responsibilities much more seriously. 😂 (Apparently, foremen don’t smile on inspection day.)

Through every silly costume, every sunrise walk, every swim, every photo shoot, every celebration, and every season of life… he’s simply shown up with his gentle heart.

And that’s why today isn’t just about turning 11.

It’s about celebrating everything we’ve built together.

A nice leisurely walk, a good rest while I’m getting everything ready for the PAWTY! The crew clocks in by 4 PM, World Cup 🇪🇸 🇫🇷⚽️ on TV, all the dogs are having the time of their lives in the pool.
The humans are chatting.
Noble is creating absolute mayhem.
And Rubble is standing by the dining room table thinking,
