A Celebration of Identity through Storytelling. Another chance to shift the Comic Book Narrative. A chance to celebrate and explore Black Queer Identity, the complexities of finding oneself and the psychedelic power of the senses. MYRISTICA comes from the genus of trees, one of which being the most famous, the Nutmeg Tree. Inspired by a Caribbean based story by Richardo Keens Douglas called “Isle of Spice”, in which he tells the sensorial mystic tale of the Nutmeg Princess, MYRISTICA takes you on a journey of Self-Discovery and Liberation. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Now showing: #FourLions creator #ChrisMorris returns with a razor sharp #satire with US counter-terrorism & religion his targets. @DayShallComeUK

An impoverished preacher who brings hope to the #Miami projects is offered cash to save his family from eviction. He has no idea his sponsor works for the #FBI, and the FBI plans on turning him into a criminal by fueling his revolutionary dreams.

Morris handles a delicate balancing act with an expected ease, the work of a #satirist with so much to say yet with an awareness that saying less leads to so much more. ★★★★ The Guardian

Smart, bitterly funny, and probably too true for most Americans to bear @HollywoodReporter
