The International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival, Summer 2026 @gsfestival

What an incredible six weeks it’s been working with the National G&S Opera Company! Three different productions, three weeks of rehearsals, one week of tech, and two weeks of shows under the batons of @jameshconductor and @jkaconductor.

I’m so grateful to have worked alongside these extremely talented and and inspiring people. My job is so cool 💗

Over the last couple of weeks, I have had the best time performing the role of ‘Kate’ in
“Pirates of Penzance” with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company. I am incredibly grateful to have shared the stage with such wonderful talented colleagues. 🏴‍☠️🏝️

What a summer it’s been! ✨🎭 @gsfestival

I feel really lucky to have been part of the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company this year, playing Isabel in The Pirates of Penzance and also taking part in HMS Pinafore and The Mikado

I’ve had the most amazing time working with some of the loveliest people, inside and out. So many memories, laughs, performances, and friendships I’ll cherish forever. ❤️

I’m going to miss these wonderful folks so much, but what a truly special summer it’s been! 🥹✨

And that’s a wrap on the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival! 🎭✨

What a time it has been! So grateful to have spent this year’s festival performing Edith in The Pirates of Penzance and Cousin Hebe in HMS Pinafore as well as being part of The Mikado - such incredible music and so much fun along the way! ⚓️🏴‍☠️

But, it’s the people who made it. So many laughs, wonderful performances, backstage chaos, new friendships and reunions with some of my favourite people! ♥️

Feeling so very lucky to have been part of it all! Until next time, Buxton! 🎵✨

Over the past 6 weeks I’ve had the best time performing with the chorus with @national_gs_opera_company for the 32nd annual @gsfestival for the past 6 weeks. Three shows, three 5-star reviews! Much love to everyone who I met and performed alongside, you’re all brilliant and I hope to see you at gigs in future.

Well, what a birthday week. Huge highs, heartbreaking lows. I can’t bring myself to celebrate so I’ll just leave a message of gratitude. I’m grateful for the *privilege* of ageing, I’m blessed that I feel so safe and comfortable with this incredible cast (even in this very dark moment) and honoured to feel such grief at my wee man’s passing. It’s the price I pay for 14 years of love 📸 Charles Smith for @gsfestival

It’s been the most incredible but intense week rehearsing the Pirates of Penzance for the @gsfestival with the most incredible cast & company. Hopefully when we hit @buxtonoperahouse the temperature will have dropped! #heatwave #soprano #opera #gilbertandsullivan #buxtonoperahouse
