My dad is English, and one time he and my mom came back from visiting his family, and all they could talk about was Millionaire Bars. This was years ago, so this is old news, but I’m getting old, and I guess I’ll be telling the same stories for the rest of my life. Anyway, I used to make them (fancy twix!) when I had a little sandwich business (also one million years ago), and I was excited when Safia made them for Chomps.

I bought Italian plums at the farmers market thinking I would make the plum torte a couple more times. However, Safia just started working with us, and she knows a thing or three about pastry, and she whispered this plum galette with frangipane into existence.
