Had a great time at Sonic: live in concert! Hearing all the themes and music from the games I grew up playing as kid took me back to a more innocent, happier time in my life. Big shout out to all of the musicians involved! They were incredible and i can tell they had the time of their lives up there. Happy 35th anniversary Sonic!

Not only that. We even got to take a photo with the band! Can't say lucky. Cause I'm blessed! So blessed that I'm able to do things like this because of my love for Sonic The Hedgehog! May we continue to make more memories like this. 💙

I was lucky enough to have a showing very close to ASU at @mesaartscenter and went to see it with a friend! It’s been a few days since the concert, but I still wanted to make a post about it since it was such a surreal experience :)

Starting BEFORE the concert, we started off on a rather scary journey from campus to the center via @waymo because it felt like we were being taken to our demise by this autonomous vehicle 💀

BUT, we did manage to make it to the center unharmed! :)
Didn’t get a pic but seeing the lines for concessions and merch was insane… I was very concerned because we were mere minutes from the concert starting too LOL

Made it in without problems, and seeing this huge auditorium being relatively full was definitely insane to both me and my friend. Neither of us expected there to be a huge Sonic fanbase here in Arizona, but MAN, were we mistaken. The venue was pretty much full by the time the show began, and thats kinda funny to think about, imo.

And a little while later, it was time for the concert to begin! The vibes before we even began were already immaculate, and it only got better as the concert went on. ❤️

Not just the audience’s vibes were insane, but it also extended to the band members on stage who definitely looked like they were having the time of their LIVES on stage.
Gotta say though, I still don’t understand why we’re cheering when Maria dies. Like damn what the hell do you guys have against Maria 😭

With that, it was about time for intermission, at which point I bolted it to the merch booth and bought the blue shirt + poster.

I already made reels for the CrossWorlds and Speed is My Life reactions, so I won’t dwell on those, but GOD, hearing the reaction when Frontiers came on was amazing. Glad to know so many fans really do appreciate the soundtrack for this game!

And obviously, need another freakout for when Undefeatable hit. Such a classic within the franchise at this point, and the performers definitely did this song justice. Thank you to Ohtani-san for creating this masterpiece to begin with! ❤️

I’m way past late but the Sonic Live Concert in Mesa, Arizona was good, great, awesome, outstanding and AMAZING! 🦔💨🎶🎶🎶

The Sonic fan community has been so fun to be a part of! Every person I met from the audience to the band and singers were so kind and sweet. I love that for us! 💙🩵

Sonic Live 🥹💙⚡️
I liked this a lot more than the symphony for a few reasons - as gorgeous as the orchestral arrangements were, it’s much more fun (for me at least) hearing the synths, bass and drums of the direct covers of how the tracks sounded in-game. Also, because I sat much closer to the stage this time. For nostalgia’s sake, I wanted to make the first few slides be near-identical to the ones in my symphony post (obviously with the exception of slide 3). There are a couple of new things shown here so still swipe with caution (slides 3, 5, 8 and 9 in particular). More spam will be in my story highlights.

SONIC R AAAAAAHHHHHHH THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONIC SOUNDTRACK!!! I’m counting this as new because it debuted at the London Sonic Symphony and I believe it only played there.🏁

Maria is doomed to face her demise as multiple people cheer on, over and over again 😅🩵 Good news is I was more chill (again, THIS TIME) so you can actually hear the singers.

I went kinda nuts when Sonic Speed Riders started! For a song with such little lyrics, it’s still lots of fun.🌊

I behaved and didn’t do the Werehog scream, a cheer is all you need 🌙

Everyone involved! I wish Senbla would do what MGP did and give shoutouts to their band and announce guests, so I hope I can make them better known here.
