The Wall Chat adds another key crew member Sage Park as our Production Designer! 🧑‍🎨

Sage Park (they/them), is a production design BFA candidate at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains, they have always admired the beauty of nature, community, and where they intertwine.
Worlds of imagination hold a special place in their heart. In every project, they explore how spaces reflect the people within them. They love the collaborative nature of both film and theatre and seek out roles that work closely with a team. They hope to use production design to elevate voices and promote connection. Off set, Sage can be found practicing bird calls, collecting
trinkets, or dancing like no one is watching.

Ummmmm how the hell do I encapsulate what this summer has meant to me in 20 photos? I won’t even try, but hopefully this gives you a sense of how insanely beautiful it has been to spend 5 months in a place I’ve loved since I was kid, watching spring turn to summer and then summer to fall, putting on plays in a 99-year-old theater with the most hard-working and fun people I’ve ever met (and one ghost). When I asked @alifarina7 in my interview how she would describe her Cape Playhouse summers, she neglected to tell me about the squirrels nests and chain hoists I would encounter, but she described it in one word as “dreamy.” And even with the dumpster dives and overnights, I think that word pretty much sums it up.

Forever in love with you @capeplayhouse say it back💙🌊

Today, the 4th years visited the set of RJ Decker in Wilmington! They talked to the production designer, Adam Davis and saw many standing sets, a police precinct set, and a trailer park set. We don’t have many pictures (because of the secrets)
