dear cape town,
yall turned me tf up 😛 i’ve learned so much over this past year; about myself, about culture, about love, about what it feels like to belong somewhere.
thank you to all the beautiful people i’ve met. thank you for loving me exactly how i am, for holding space with me, and for giving me a home so far away from home.
this was one of the most influential years of my life, and i will carry these lessons and memories with me forever.
until next time 🇿🇦❤️, “american trade” out

Our House is a collaborative initiative dedicated to building the educational infrastructure necessary for Ballroom culture to evolve and flourish across Cape Town and the African continent. We engage with Ballroom history, queer ancestry, and somatic practice to build the confidence, autonomy, discipline, and healing necessary for queer and trans people to navigate this world.

Project carried out with the support of Equality Without Borders, managed by the @king_baudouin_foundation.

Our House is hosted, managed and represented by @gamut1org.
