The goal isn’t to be known by many. It’s to be trusted by the right ones so your name feels like a safe decision.

These photos hold a lot of joy for me. Thank you, friends. You’ve shaped my heart this semester in ways you may never fully know. The future is so very bright. 👑🫶

So honored that I got to speak at Xi B Province Day yesterday about the genius musical storytelling decisions made in every version of "The Ballad of the Witches' Road" from "Agatha All Along." Just upholding my reputation on campus as the Marvel Music Lady™!

That feeling when you’re old enough to know just how lucky you are to share space, time, and energy with the friends who have grown with you, challenged you, and stayed.

Back in FAC together… 16 years after it all began, and not a single thing has changed. 😂

Come hang with us next weekend 🐾🎶💙

Bravo!! Drake University Flute Studio Recital was a great success! These wonderful students should be so proud of their hard work they put in for our performance today. Today we celebrated works by living composers and many of them performed pieces that were way outside their comfort zones, in such a short amount of time. They rose to the challenge and played beautifully. I couldn’t be prouder to be their (temporary) teacher ❤️

As we approach spring break, I have been reflecting on how fortunate I am to get to do what I love. Not only am I still in my position as Adjunct Professor of Flute at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, I have had the distinct pleasure of working as Teaching Artist of Flute at Drake University while Dr. Leslie Marrs is on sabbatical.

Balancing all of my jobs can be overwhelming, but I love teaching and I love it even more because of all the amazing students I see every week. Moments like this make it even better ❤️

I received this lovely note from the members of the SAI chapter at Drake. This really meant the world and I’m just grateful that I can share my love for flute and music, even for just a short time. Thank you @sai.pichapter for the kind words 🌹

Over the weekend, @laura_bogner21 visited Drake University and found this on their campus! @sai.pichapter did a great job painting this for their relays event 🎨🌹We always love to connect to other chapters around the country, and it was great to see SAI on campus!

“I can’t promise you a happy ending, but it’ll be one hell of a story.” — photos from: DG founders day, horn recital, my 19th birthday, painted street, relays, SAI initiation & rowing (conference included). Even though COVID hit us, I’m grateful for the stories that I’ve got to tell. Here’s to freshman year 💜
