#theZara goes to Penang

Kuala Lumpur - Butterworth (Penang) via KTM ETS.
One of many things in our bucket list. Bring the girls for train ride. Initially we plan for Kedah but Penang will be great for foodie like us.

Journey started from KL Sentral. Scheduled train at 11.08 am. Route will be KL - BUTTERWORTH. Honestly we don’t have proper itineraries for the trip. The only confirmed items was train tickets to and fro 😅. We didn’t even know that they serve lots of food in the train - complete 3 course meal; appetiser - lunch - tea for 4 hours journey. Facilities are pretty good with proper toilet (with bidet) and also cafeteria.

Upon reaching Butterworth, only then we decide to ride the ferry. Hahaha its hard to get a Grab for 5pax 😅. Ferry ride is FREE for Malaysian citizen yer but its kinda scary ride for the kids huhuhu they are upgrading the ferry soon tho. Alhamdulillah selamat sampai across to the island. Been cancelled by Grab twice hence we just took a normal taxi to the homestay.

For the night since all are exhausted, we just rent a car from Socar and go for dinner at the famous Hameediyah and have a stroll at Padang Kota Lama.

Day1 #theZaratravel
Manage to make move from the house at 6.30am. The whole day before was packing day for mommy. Alhamdulillah theZara memang don’t have issues to wake up early. Shower, bersiap and breakfast within the timeframe. Reached airport, checked in luggage and everything was so smooth.

Flight was smooth. They enjoyed the movie while mommy and deddi feed ourself since we didn’t get our breakfast yet. Sacrifices. This time Adra got the uncomfortable ear pressure during landing 😅 “tinge adek tak dengar mami..” luckily ade some cough candy in my bag. Seriously terlupa bab nih.

Since we still can’t checked in the hotel yet, decided to jalan-jalan first. Hence we follow the travel guide itinerary. Airport - lunch - Uluwatu tample - dinner at Jimbaran. We didn’t stay for the Kecak Dance at Uluwatu as hurmmm avoiding unnecessary fear to theZara. Hence we managed to catch sunset at Jimbaran. After dinner, straight away went to our stay for this trip @mercuresanurbali.

Well this trip really meant for theZara. To create as much memories with them and introduce them to different part of the world.

TheZara goes to Safari.
It always been one of my wish-list to bring the girls to safari and experience. When the dedi ask “how bout we bring the girl to Bali” its a definite YES.

We have roughly 1 month to plan and decide where to and what to do. Hence mami choose Bali Safari and marine park. It would be great if we could spent one whole day there, but we have other part of Bali to explore too and the growling tummy to fill. 😅

For now this is our weekend getaway with them kiddos. Our unit is still vacant at the moment due to maintenance after the previous tenant. Time to enjoy the facilities especially the pools. Living with covid19 nowadays need to be extra concern where to bring the kids out.

#wechoosetobevaccinated

Alhamdulillah done for 1st AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine at Shah Alam IDCC.

For the record.
The process & procedures are so smooth. Our session was at 9.30am. Leave the house at 8.45am and reached IDCC parking around 8.55am. Waited in the car till around 9.05am.

Then start queuing. The RELA officer in charge at the entrance really doing a good job. Checking everybody’s MySejahtera and only allowing people for 9.30 slots to enter.

Get into the vaccination area. Q for brieffing and start registration then consultation and finally vaccination and observation. Got my jab at 9.42am course my consultation a bit longer than the husb since i am taking hormones replacement pill. Please acknowledge the medical officer if u have any health concern.

No pictures during the jab for me 😅 sebab its soooo smooth. Waited for observation for around 15minutes then we are good to go. Snap some pictures and collect some goodies sponsored by @nestle.malaysia 👍🏼👍🏼

By 10am, we already out from the parking area. Double thumbs 👍🏼👍🏼up for the smooth arrangements to all @jkjavmy

For the notes:
1. Bring your own pen
2. MySejahtera app up and running hence phone need to fully charge
3. MyKad always dalam capaian.
