Well that is a wrap! 50 bazillion events attended and hosted. Three executive boards joined. One International Ambassador position gained. Hundreds of meals eaten. Dozens of new foods tried. 30 credit hours taken. And most importantly, many friends made. My first year at UE has been, for lack of a better word, amazingly fantastically beautifully stellar. Growth and joy are the themes. The growth in myself has been amazing to see. And even more amazing is the growth I've seen in my friends over just a year; I'm honored to have witnessed such beautiful development. The joy day to day of being there, even when the classes are hard, even when the weather is poor, even when the food is vile, is astonishing. For the first time in my life I can confidently say that I have become an important part of a community. And what a wonderful community it is. I am impressed by strength and quality of the bonds I have here. Another odd way that I have grown is my perception of time. Time is so odd. The days are long, the weeks are shorts, and the semester so terrifyingly fast. That's the worst part. The good times are flying my faster and faster. I'm going to miss it all, so very much. The vegetables(#lycopenemaxxing), the professors, the wealth of knowledge I'm receiving, the campus, the events, and most importantly the friends I have made in just my first year. My heart breaks to be away from it all, but come Fall we'll all meet again. Except for those graduating or studying abroad; they have a special spot in my grieving of the school year.

Soooooo my summer was crazy and rolling into college I met a lot of new people. I even befriended a few of them!!! It feels like yesterday I graduated high school and one blink after another Im in the middle of my college semester. It was honestly pretty nerve wracking but I met a bunch of cool people and yes Im still doing choir, i still have that choir tism in me 😭. I love this school and i especially love all the friends ive made here, but I also miss my oomfs from Jasper. ❤️
