Summer should be spending Christmas in her forever home. 😔 Curled up underneath a tree, snoring away as holiday movies play in the background. Waking up to presents, joy, & laughter as she celebrates for the very first time with people who actually love her.

How do I tell Summer that she still has nowhere to go? 💔

After five weeks of professional training— working on her loose leash skills, recall, crate training, intros to new people, confidence building, household boundaries, & more, Summer has become such an incredible version of herself. It breaks our hearts that no one has seen her for how wonderful she is.

She is so ready. She’s done everything we’ve asked of her. She’s put in the work, trusted the process, and blossomed into a dog who just wants someone to choose her.

But her training ends this Saturday; and without an adopter, Summer will have nowhere safe to land. We are genuinely running out of options, and it’s devastating to say that out loud. We keep pleading and searching… and yet, nothing has worked out.

We want to help more animals, but we absolutely cannot until Summer gets the placement she needs. The limbo she’s been in is completely unsustainable for our rescue to operate through, and it’s breaking our hearts.

So if you’ve been waiting for a sign — this is it. Summer deserves her moment, her family, her chance. Please help us find the people who will love her the way she’s always deserved. She is currently in Southern California, but we accept adopters throughout the state and across the country.
