When @saintttrich reached out to me about this record, I was in a really dark place in my life.

I had lost people. Friendships had changed, relationships had fallen apart, and I was carrying battles I wasn’t really talking about. So when I heard the song, I didn’t have to search too far for what to write, I just wrote from where I was.

Some people I thought would be here forever became memories. Some are simply no longer part of my life, and some I’ll never get the chance to see again.

That’s where “There’s no rewinding…” came from.

Because one thing life keeps teaching me is that you can miss people, grieve what was, and carry pain nobody knows about, but life keeps moving.

And somehow, you have to move with it.

Not because you’ve forgotten.
Not because it doesn’t hurt anymore.
But because life is still happening.

Rest in peace to the ones we lost along the way. 🕊️

Savo G is coming out of Chicago and was recommended by my guy @johnnys.1991 that puts me onto a wide range of artists in the city. And Savo G is a recent recommendation and one of my favorites so far. Coming with aggressive street content and on World War 3, mixed with a concept that I thought worked well. So let me get into this!
.
World War 3 comes with this concept around, well World War 3 and Savo G living in this concept and everything around him. Everything starts with The Black Out, and Savo lets you know this is just the tip of the ice. This song, No Service and The Bug all go hard and have Savo G attacking the beat non stop which I loved. Then Terrified comes in with a more somber tone and Savo matches that intensity.
.
This whole project has Savo G delivering his lyrics with passion at an expert level. No matter the tone or direction of each song you can feel Savos bars. And the beats range from super hard hitting to calmer and more lid back but all bring an intensity in one way or another. Some of my favorite tracks here are No Service, Terrified, The War Within & The Fall Out.
.
Savo G really impressed me with World War 3. This has me ready to see what else Savo G has incoming down the line. As of now this is my favorite 2026 drop I’ve heard so far. It’s early but it’s not for nothing still.
