• Upside Down Universe •

Thank you @asuligoj @mariafinkelmeier @berkleembm @upsidedownuniverse25 for this incredible opportunity to collaborate with 105 students from Berklee, Emerson College and MassArt in this multi-disciplinary project!

And to my amazing orchestra,
Thank you for your constant encouragement and support over the past 5 months. Rehearsing every Monday night from 9pm-12am amidst our own busy schedules was wild, and integrating the click tracks, IEMs, movies, SFX and surround sound during the music-making process made it even more challenging. I would have given up a long time ago if it weren’t for your trust, hopes and passion. Our determination pushed everything forward and we definitely created something new at Berklee!

So many opportunities were created for students who are passionate in what they do - performing, composing, film scoring, video editing, sound designing, track producing, engineering, lighting design, programming, etc. Our collaboration proved that self-driven and self-motivated students are capable of achieving great things together. Thank you all for this wonderful journey🙏🏻

It’s time to brag about the 103 students who came together to create a completely original immersive experience at @berkleebpc ⚡️🎉

Over two years in the making, I had the honor of mentoring @asuligoj and the team for @upsidedownuniverse25 💜 working through creative, technical, and design challenges and excitement.

☑️ They brought on students from @massartboston and @emersoncollege, negotiated with the LED wristband company, worked through video and surround sound playback routing, rehearsed from 9-midnight on Mondays, scheduled countless meetings, drafted a million documents … and made something truly special.

😎 working on the project has been a highlight of my time at @berkleecollege, an example of experimentation, risk-taking, innovation and collaboration at its finest.

🎶 Also, the show was just SO GOOD!!!!

Congrats to all involved, production, composers, performers, and all 💕 I’m so deeply proud of you.

@asuligoj @jt_rhythmia @saita119 (and plz tag others!!)

And thx to @epsonamerica and @berkleembm for sponsoring, and ALL of the Berklee depts and faculty that helped out 💯
