🔥 WHAT IF THE WEALTH YOU CHASE BECOMES THE FIRE YOU FEAR?

We spend our lives trying to earn more, save more and build more.

But have we ever stopped to ask:

What happens when wealth enters our hands, but Allah leaves our hearts?

Wealth itself is not the problem. The danger lies in when the pursuit of it makes us forget who provided it, how it should be earned, and where we will be accountable for it.

Join Dr Sheikh Sajid Umar for a powerful 1.5-Day Course: WHEN WEALTH BECOMES FIRE

A timely exploration of how wealth can become a fitnah and a source of regret when it is pursued without consciousness of Allah — and how we can approach wealth with taqwa, responsibility and the Akhirah in mind.

Zakat circulates. Waqf endures.

One is a duty, paid every year, reaching those who are entitled to it. The other is a gift given once and kept for good, serving everyone for generations.

At the inaugural Waqf Summit, hosted by National Waqf, our CEO Dr @snmhanif explained how the two were made to work together. Zakat teaches us we are responsible for where we live. Its limits leave us wanting to do more. Waqf is where that “more” goes.

That is how Muslim cities came to have free hospitals, schools, lodging and waterways. Swipe to hear him explain it.

Imagine it here. What would you build in your city?

Tell us in the comments, and if you can help make it real, send us a message.

Reviving waqf. Building for generations.

Alhamdulillah, The Waqf Summit 2026 brought together scholars, charity leaders, philanthropists and finance professionals to explore how waqf can build a sustainable future for our communities.

We were honoured to welcome Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani for the keynote address and launch the Waqf Pack, helping individuals and organisations take practical steps towards establishing a lasting charitable legacy.

A glimpse of a day filled with meaningful conversations and a shared commitment to ensuring our good deeds outlive us.

JazakAllahu khayran to our speakers, guests, volunteers and everyone who made it possible. May Allah accept these efforts and place barakah in what follows. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah, on Wednesday evening, we at @nationalwaqf welcomed Imams, masjid representatives and other guests from across the country to @saffrongallerylondon.

The evening focused on reviving Waqf, encouraging masjids and organisations to set aside funds to establish a waqf, preserving resources and supporting their long-term sustainability. We also introduced our Waqf Pack to help organisations take this step.

The evening concluded with a keynote address by Shaykh Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani حفظه الله.

May Allah accept everyone’s efforts and make this a means of lasting benefit for the Ummah. Ameen.

JazakAllah Khair to everyone who supported in making this happen.

You need to know the world you want to leave behind

With so many choices competing for our attention, it can be difficult to know which good choice is the right one. One way to decide is to imagine yourself on your deathbed and ask what you would want to see in the lives of those around you.

From your family and community to your local masjid, what would you hope to have built, changed, or left behind? And if you cannot answer that, start with a simpler question: what would you not want to see?
