Our birthday celebration continue this weekend. PVW’s relationship with the Westside Cartel goes right back to issue one when we featured Saj Anwar’s Mk1 GTI. Yep, PVW Oct ’96 - thats right, 30 damn years! So, it only seemed fitting to show our respect and appreciation by exhibiting at its annual @westside_show Show & Shine this Sunday. The recommissioning officially begins... 🔧 After spending over 5 years on the @caraudiosecurity showroom mezzanine, it’s finally time to get my Mk2 Golf GTI 16V back to its very best. First stop: Pump Lane Motors for a full inspection and to see exactly what the car needs after such a long time off the road. Hopefully there won’t be too many surprises! 🤞 The aim is to have the Golf ready for the @caraudiosecurity Night Vibes event on Saturday 19th September, and if all goes to plan, it’ll also be making an appearance at @westside_show on 27th September. 🙌 This car has been part of the collection for many years, so I’m incredibly excited to get it back where it belongs... out on the road! 🚗💨 Follow the journey as I’ll be documenting the entire recommissioning process on Raj’s Garage.
