Look at the first photo in that strip. That kid in the school blazer had no idea what was coming — the mountains, the whiteouts, the summits, any of it.

Somebody had to see it before he could.

I didn't transform on my own. Every version of me in that strip — the graduate, the climber, the one standing at 5,895m, the one now standing in front of a room trying to give back what he was given — carries the fingerprints of a teacher, a faculty member, an instructor, a mentor who decided I was worth the effort.

You didn't just teach subjects. You taught me how to keep going when the footing got bad. You corrected me when I couldn't see my own mistakes. You believed in a version of me that hadn't shown up yet — and stayed patient until it did.

I used to think talent got people to the top. It doesn't. Consistency does. And I only learned that because you modeled it for me, one class, one correction, one quiet act of faith at a time.

So to every teacher, every faculty member, every instructor, every mentor who ever pushed, corrected, or simply believed — thank you. Genuinely. You didn't just shape a student. You shaped a whole life.

Happy Teachers' Day. I hope you know how far your reach actually goes. 🙏🏔️

Dehradun — a city that once felt like poetry.
Golden sunsets painting the sky, whispering peace through the hills…

But beneath this beauty lies a truth we’ve chosen to ignore.
The same land now holds dying rivers, choked with encroachments…
Where the Rispana once flowed, today stand concrete settlements.

In the name of development, are we quietly erasing what made this city breathe?

This isn’t just a reel. It’s a reminder.
A reminder of what we had… and what we’re losing.

Follow @vjtheexplorer for more stories that need to be seen, heard, and acted upon.

🎥🌿 Know the Story of Kharakhet!

VC: @thesaurabhnegi

Kharakhet — a place where history meets nature 🇮🇳✨
From being the site of the 1930 Salt Satyagraha to becoming a growing Biodiversity Park, this land carries the legacy of courage and conservation.

The cycling community of Dehradun, in collaboration with the Forest Department and other government bodies, is working tirelessly to preserve and protect this historic site through continuous plantation drives and awareness rides 🚴‍♀️🌱

Let’s keep the spirit of Kharakhet alive — for our history, our environment, and our future 🌍💚
