The Centre’s first Bikepacking tour with alumni from WGSHA, MIT and Srishti. We chose the ancient kingdom of Georgia which came highly recommended by our friend @grdbrki , who’s been a big part of the centre’s cycling operations leading into this tour!

After a couple of days in Tblisi we arrive in Svaneti, surrounded by flower fields, medieval towers and towering mountains. After months of training, running after lost baggage, and a two day bus transfer, it’s been an adventure getting to the start line. But we are finally here!

At Aretto, questioning is part of our culture.

We come to work every day and challenge assumptions.
About design. About comfort. About what’s possible.

We saw 15 people do the same. Effortlessly.

They explored. Tested. Rethought. They built Aretto prototypes from scratch without waiting for instructions or approval.

No fear of being wrong. No attachment to a “right way.”

And in that moment, it felt clear.

Curiosity isn’t something you grow into.
It’s something you’re born with. We simply to gave it space.

Prototyping in progress and so is perspective.

When 15 families joined us for Curious Imprints, it wasn’t just about making paper shoes. It was about experiencing how ideas take shape.

Parents and children sat side by side, questioning structure, adjusting proportions, discussing comfort, imagining movement. What began as flat sheets slowly evolved into Aretto prototypes built from scratch.

There were disagreements, lots of laughter, designs, and few breakthroughs.

Curiosity became conversation. Creativity became collaboration.

And somewhere between folding and refining, something deeper was built
