February was an adventure. 😮‍💨 Went to Denver for @noexpectationsxx reconnected with @_lindseyherbert Got a cute logo made by @_host.of.a.ghost Got to perform at SOMA ! Went to @connectsandiego to watch some DJS from Germany. All while I dropped my first song on my SoundCloud, my mom had my baby sister and most importantly I got to be around some of my fav people through all of this madness from this month. 🖤🔥 March is about to pop off ! You ready !?

Have you ever thought about how influential our parents were to us? As immigrants to the US, they bridged so many things- culture, music, fashion etc. When we’re growing up we either love it or hate it, then as adults we appreciate all those things we learned from our parents. These photos remind me of all those weekends spent at Pico Rivera Sports Arena. I want us to acknowledge how important it is to embrace our culture, which is so complex and beautiful. These photos were submitted by Salvador Cuvarrubias jr, all taken around 1997-1998 at Pico arena Sports Arena. Salvador is first generation son of immigrants from Michoacán and Chihuahua.
