Congratulations to Mrs. Robyn Harless and Emory Coe on being selected as the September recipients of the Buriak Award. Mrs. Harless teaches history and is certainly a favorite amongst the students. She continually goes above and beyond in making sure that all of her students are able to be successful. Emory Coe is a member of Spartan 7 and has recently been a true example and role model of what it means to be a team player. After suffering an injury, Emory continues to show up to practice and games each and every day for her teammates. She is a leader in the school and an example of what it means to be a Spartan. Congratulations to Mrs. Harless and Emory Coe!

What a night for Spartan Athletics! Our lacrosse programs completed a clean sweep over Jefferson Forest, going 3-0 to close out the regular season in impressive fashion. ๐Ÿ† JV Boys Lacrosse finished an undefeated season at 11-0 with an incredible 158-26 goal differential! ๐Ÿ† Varsity Boys Lacrosse wrapped up the regular season at 13-1 and earned the #1 seed in the Regional Playoffs. ๐Ÿ† Varsity Girls Lacrosse finished 11-3 and secured the #3 seed heading into Regional Playoff action. A special congratulations to Rylee McNeill and Anne Craig Thomas for both reaching the incredible milestone of 100 career goals! ๐ŸฅŽ In softball, we celebrated our lone senior, Khia Priest, on Senior Night. In storybook fashion, Khia blasted the first home run of her career โ€” a 3-run no-doubter! Thank you, Khia, for everything youโ€™ve meant to our program! โšพ Baseball battled a talented Glenvar squad in an instant classic that was tied 6-6 in the bottom of the 10th inning before being suspended due to darkness. Sophomore slugger Aiden Poff made history by hitting his 6th home run of the season, setting a new single-season school record and surpassing the previous mark shared by three players โ€” including incoming principal Mr. Jamie Garst. We close out the regular season tomorrow with 8 matchups against Pulaski County. Go Spartans!
