🌮. You knew this post was coming. I like tacos. A lot. I took a picture of every taco I ate on this trip but tbh, some of them weren't presented like tacos. Some of them were "assemble yourself" tacos at La Polar (made from goat meat, holy crap goat is amazing) or the carnitas plate I had with sliced cactus and onions and they gave you unlimited tortillas with it. I had a WHOLE LOTTA different taco meats on this trip: Al pastor is king, rib is awesome, chorizo is a dope change up, longaniza was spicier than the Filipino version of it, goat was incredible, carnitas were delicious and asada was surprisingly at the bottom end of the spectrum but by no means not phenomenal. Huge shoutout to @tacoselfarolitomx, charcoal grilling al pastor gives it a smoky taste that gas grills can't replicate. That's what makes them the best at making tacos al pastor. After counting all of my pics and trying to include all the make yourself tacos, I'm easily at over 30 for the past 10 days 😅
