This is my new track & video Not With Us 🥷

Full track and video link in the bio 👆👆

This track is aimed at people, probably myself included, who are gradually losing the drive and sense of obligation to stay involved in the ongoing protest movement in Georgia 🫵

At the same time, there are people standing on Rustaveli Avenue in the freezing cold and the summer heat, riding the metro with protest signs, showing up at court hearings, going to prison over completely fabricated nonsense, and still stubbornly doing everything they can to make their voices heard as loud as possible. If this track manages to give even one person a little bit of that motivation back, I will consider it to have done its job 🦾

From my upcoming EP "Against", which is fully dedicated to the 2024-ongoing protest movement. Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible: 👇

📸 Photos by @saligvilia from her project "What Remains" The series documents the basic protective equipment people used to shield themselves during the protests in Georgia

The application deadline for WERKSTATT BERLIN’s “International Documentary + Art Photography | 12 Month Program” is getting closer: March 10, 2026!

Situated in Kreuzberg, Werkstatt Berlin, founded in 2023 by Michael Grieve, is a growing independent education program dedicated to the appreciation, knowledge, questioning and creative discursive development of documentary + art photography and visual culture.

Michael Grieve, Patricia Morosan, Francesca Comune and Calin Kruse teach a 12 month program (starting on the weekend of March 28/29, 2026) with monthly weekend seminars, in which participating photographers develop a practical project, beginning with small assignments, and gain knowledge and inspiration from invited guest lecturers. The focus is on a substantive examination of contemporary photography leading to a profound understanding of the medium as an independent art form.

Obrigada, queridos. 🤍

EXHIBITION

Visceral
19-22 June
Vernissage: 19 June 7pm

Werkstatt Berlin is pleased to announce an exhibition of projects achieved during the Werkstatt Berlin 12 Month Program 2024.

Visceral is a small but significant exhibition in a modest space and marks a conclusion of photographic projects that convey a diversity of subject matter, sharing a raw and ‘unfiltered’ aesthetic quality pertaining towards lyrical, conceptual and socially engaged documentary photography; the disappearance of an Italian circus, the peripheral landscape of Berlin, personal story of the upheaval of Georgia, multiple views of the same face, individuals attacked by bigots, fathers loss of liberty, the mystery of a park, mundane urban place, memorial to fallen Ukrainian soldiers.
