My biggest piece of advice for those starting nursing school: surround yourself with an incredibly supportive, beautiful, and inspiring group of friends that will be in your life forever.

in nursing school, there will be a group of girls who want to get margaritas after the exam… and it’s very important that you go 🤍

TYJ!! 🌄🧡🥭
Rwanda, you were completely amazing!!
I am just in complete awe of God’s work in this country. Not just in the beautiful landscape but also in the beauty, kindness, and compassion of the people. Not to mention the passion fruit and mango!! This trip has impacted me in a way like no other and i am eternally grateful for the opportunity and for the people I was able to be with! Thank you Baylor Global health in Africa for this amazing journey to Rwanda & the opportunity to learn about other cultures. I am beyond grateful for all the hand on experience with the amazing kids and being able to provide for their health while also learning about how our lifestyles contrast. Having the opportunity not just to learn about the people, but also their agriculture, their food and water systems, and the deep history behind all of Rwanda is something so I will always cherish. Not to mention the fun game of soccer we were able to play with the kids!
God, your work has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated in this country. For three weeks I saw the grace, gratitude, and love poured out from all of these people. They are filled with the Holy Spirit, and hold You has the King of their heart. Thank you Rwanda for reminding me of my first love and the experience to connect with people not only on a personal level but also in a spiritual level. This will forever be a trip I am thankful for and one that I will never forget. From the tears, laughter, and incredible animals we saw, I will remember every moment, and keep them in my heart.
