Days 167-174: USA - Miami In mid-February we returned to the US for 6 days for @shelbiarielle and @nic2187 ‘s beautiful wedding. It was a quick trip, but we were able to spend a few special days with close friends and family. After 6 months of being away, it was a joy to be back. We filled up on as many comfort foods as we could get our hands on - like Florida stone crab 🦀 , plantains, and croquettas. We spent almost as much time in transit as we did in Miami - it took us 46 hours to get there and 38 hours to get back! Luckily, neither of us mind long flights... but it helps that the lounges serve wine 24 hours a day. We traveled through 7 international airports on that trip. Only a handful of travelers had masks on and there were no thermometers in sight. It’s crazy to think of how much the world has changed since then. We were so lucky to enter the US from a foreign country (the virus had not yet made it to where we departed from), and we were able to stay safe while traveling. Back to Asia for us. See ya later, America! The Stannards
