In February of 2025 I began a series of paintings that I wanted to create because they brought me JOY! With that I felt maybe it could bring others joy as well!?
I painted my first Good Dog from the series of mini pet portraits! I think it might be time to introduce you to all the little faces I had the pleasure of painting and displaying @museumofthedog as part of the “Dog Days of Summer” exhibition that ran from June 17th to September 27th 2026.

Meet Fergus @fergusmcmuffin was the very first face that I painted on clay frames! This gorgeous pup and his wonderful parent @sallyandmitch have become a special part of my art world.

What an honor it is to honor our precious little creatures💓🐾

Celebrating 5 years since the first screening @svanyc bringing together ballroom, #paradisegarage, fashion and music legacies. We ARE living history. Since then I have been reunited with long lost friends, creative inspirations, found new friends, be in the room again and support ballroom, vogue again and see my own kids vogue!!! (Yes @goodkarmaandstylz and @cvalentino68), and start new projects on theme of belonging through fashion music and dance. We made history back in the red era and again in 2021. Thank you to every luvee who streams this film everyday and invites us to share history and love. And to Eric McCaine wherever you are, #gottagetyouback.

Somewhere along the way, this class became part of me finding my way back to myself. Thank you for showing up for me, yourselves, and each other.

We built this together. I hope you’ll keep building with me. There’s always room for you. 🖤

I found myself humming“You Stepped into my Life” by @melba1moore, a car ride classic when I was younger that was hiding out in my brain until now. I had to do something gritty with it…

P.S. THANK YOU @sallyandmitch for this shirt!!! Big love always

My dear friend Ronnye used to work at Lee’s Mardi Gras so I’d visit all the time, another bygone place that gave New York City some spice and catered to a very distinctive clientele.
Lee Brewster (April 27, 1943 – May 19, 2000) was one of a kind - Lee was an American drag queen, transgender activist, and retailer; a founding member of the pre-Stonewall activist group, Queens Liberation Front. In the 1970s and 1980s, Lee published Drag magazine.

Lee opened this loft-like store filled with feather boas, sequins, and size 15 pumps in 1969; there was big kitchen in the back and Lee would cook all the time, especially huge holiday dinners.

I’m living for this T-Shirt from the one and only @sallyandmitch who has the most incredible store on EBay also unique shower curtains available nowhere else-specializing in nostalgia of my misspent youth in NYC. Visit 99Wooster on Ebay.
