Wow, it’s been a year of growth on so many levels!
Thank you for coming to celebrate it with us over the weekend, our hearts are so full thanks to the special community we have at The Yoga Room!

Over time TYR has become more and more like a second home to me. For those of you who don’t know, my ‘home home’ is far away from Australia and I miss it at times!
But when contemplating the meaning of home, over my lifetime so far, I’ve come to understand that for me it’s not just a physical place that makes one feel at home (although beautiful places such as the studio can help🥰), but it’s the people and the connection.
It’s something that can be found inside oneself and within each other!
It’s YOU who make it so special… so from the bottom of my heart, thank you !!!

Special thanks to Emma, our studio manager, for helping with everything, our epic teaching team for sharing their wisdom day in and day out, our studio support Jack and my partner Gene, and last but not least thanks to Clancy for busting out some fun tunes for us to celebrate the year 2022 and to Matt for capturing these beautiful moments for us all!

Reflecting on 2022!
Thank you to all the schools that acknowledge this work and the need for healthy practices such as yoga, mindfulness & meditation 🙏🏽

Let’s normalise these healthy disciplines and continue to cultivate positive practices in our day ✌🏽#perthschools #youth #mentalhealth #wellbeing #teens #yoga #highschool

And that’s almost the wrap of another week of journeying together, honouring every part of our human-being-ness through the practice on and off the mat.

Our 4x4 challenge has surely created a ripple effect that is showing up in the regular attendance of all of you; the result of your intentions can be felt in the room and we think that’s so beautiful!
We love witnessing YOU!

If you’re new to our studio, welcome, we are excited to get to know you better and support you to grow in the direction you want to go ♥️

Don’t ever hesitate to drop us a line if you have a question or request, we love to hear from you!

WOW, that’s almost a wrap of week 2 of our November 4x4 challenge!
And you’re all doing so well ♥️

This week has been themed around Space Holding.
How we can practice the qualities of listening without judgement and interruption inside our bodies, learning to let go of the fixing mentality and allowing ourselves to feel all we need to feel, with compassion.
The process of moving through any challenge is individual, and the only way past it is to feel every little bit of it.
Learning to hold space for ourselves will have a great impact on how we’re holding space for our loved ones, it’s a win-win.
And what a privilege that we can do so together ♥️

If you feel the call to join us for week 3, it’s not too late!
Each completed week is an entry to our draw for the chance to win some beautiful gifts 💕
