Crossing a border does not make you less human. 🌍

A migrant is a person.
A refugee is a person.
An asylum seeker waiting on a decision is a person.

These words describe where someone is in a legal process. They say nothing about their worth.

The law already agrees. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights says all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Not all citizens. All human beings.

So people on the move deserve a fair hearing, an interpreter, a chance to speak with a lawyer, and freedom from abuse and arbitrary detention. Nobody should be treated as a threat for seeking safety.

Every day in Philadelphia I meet people who work, raise families, worship, and find the courage to start over. They deserve the same dignity we would all hope for if we ever had to run.

Someone’s paperwork does not decide their humanity. 🤍

Tag a friend who believes in welcoming newcomers.

🏆 Humbled to compete in a NASPA tournament in King of Prussia, PA. Hosted by Judy Cole, COO of the largest Scrabble organization in the world. Faced off against top players from across North America as the 2019 National Scrabble Champion of Cameroon 🇨🇲, and my world ranking moved up after this one. Grateful. On to the next board. 🙌🏾😊🫡📚🇺🇸

Deeply honored to have been invited by His Excellency Governor Andy Beshear of Kentucky to Lexington. I attended in my capacity as the 2019 National Scrabble Champion of Cameroon and founder of the Scrabble for Peace Initiative, a project close to my heart that uses the game of Scrabble to promote peace and unity in the crisis affected North West and South West Regions of my beloved Cameroon.

Moments like these remind me why I started this journey. Scrabble is more than a game to me. It is a bridge. A tool for healing. A way to bring young people together across divides and remind them that peace is still possible.

Grateful for this recognition and for every opportunity to carry this message beyond Cameroon and onto bigger stages like this one in Kentucky. The work continues.

Some dishes don’t just feed you — they carry you home 🇨🇲
Porridged plantains & pork, the way mama intended 😊✨

Started in English, switched to Pidgin when the flavors got serious, and finished in French because c’est comme ça 😄
One dish. Three languages. Zero apologies.

Drop a 🇨🇲 if you know this dish!

Some friendships don’t fade with distance — they grow with purpose. When your people win, you show up.

This weekend I flew in to watch my brother Clarence walk across the stage at GW School of Engineering, Class of 2026, and dressed for every moment of it.

Life has a way of reminding you what matters. No cap, no suit, no dinner at Fogo de Chão compares to that moment on the National Mall watching him earn every letter behind his name.

Showed up sharp. Left inspired.

Congratulations, Engineer — the world is yours. 🎓🖤🌍📚😎😇🙏🏽
