After seeing @sallytbakes’ post about this Apple Cider Doughnut Cake with Brown Butter, I knew I needed it in my life! Sally generously shared her adapted version of @howsweeteats’ recipe. This supremely moist, tender cake features apples cooked in apple cider and then mashed along with warm fall spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Once cooled, you brush the cake with brown butter and coat it with the classic cinnamon-sugar mixture that makes apple cider donuts so tasty. And making it in a bundt pan creates a giant donut shape without the hassle of deep-frying at home! That brown-butter-cinnamon-sugar-coated crust was out of this world good. My only mistake? Using the wrong spray to coat the bundt pan - I lost part of the top while unmolding. But nothing that about 25 toothpicks couldn’t fix for this photo. Sally recommended Everbake Pan Spray, which I’m excited to try next time.#appleciderdonut #bundtcake #fallbaking #brownbutter #cinnamonsugar #donutcake #dessert #apple #howsweeteats

As we spring into summer this is the perfect kitchen to share! With the perfect shade of blue for the island and hints of walnut against the soft white cabinets; this kitchen packs a punch of storage with every cabinet you open. These clients love to bake so organization; storage for different types of baking supplies and ample countertop space was a must for this turn of the century home! #sjinteriordesignstudio

The night that RBG died I called up my college girlfriends crying hysterically. And like all good college girlfriends they did what they do best: take action. So we had a zoom call to each write 40 letters to undecided voters through #voteforward ...And today, we all mailed them with our kids. These days we can feel so powerless. But in fact, the smallest acts can be the most powerful.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

What are you and your small group of concerned citizens going to do today?
