We’re on our way to Lobo, Batangas. Honestly, I’m so excited for this race. We’re just enjoying the ride, laughing, and having fun. So far, everything feels good. Little do I know what’s waiting for me later.

ARRIVAL : Getting our race kits. 🤜🏼🫷🏻

It’s finally race time! I’m excited, but a little nervous, too. I feel like I’m ready, and I’m looking forward to seeing how this race goes. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly.

I’m catching my breath and trying to pace myself. I have to take it slow and pause when I need to because I don’t want to trigger an asthma attack this early in the race.

And then, plot twist! I get my period in the middle of the race, a whole week earlier than expected. I honestly don’t see that coming. Maybe it’s the heat and all the stress on my body, but the timing is just so unexpected.

And that’s not even the worst part. The cramps start kicking in, the heat is unbearable, and I’m also dealing with a migraine. Honestly, I don’t even know which one to deal with first.

At this point, I’m really struggling. I’m feeling weak and faint, and I’m starting to question if I can actually finish this race. Part of me wants to keep going, but my body is telling me this is getting too much.
