These two flock residents are feeling super stoked to be invited down to the big smoke for @salottosounds next party @themarqueemoon.uk 😁

Salotto have built a stellar reputation as one of the capital’s premier providers of underground, soulful house and disco. Saturday promises to be no exception with head honcho @alfaznrl and @bowlcvt joining the flock boys behind the dials. Dalton’s Marquee Moon, sister of infamous The Cause, will no doubt be the perfect setting too.

Any friends in the area come say hi! Big ups @salottosounds for the invite, steel city sounds inbound🚂➡️🪩

September is here, and with this weather, we’re officially entering hunker-down season.

Come in from the rain, grab a cosy corner, order a couple of cocktails and settle in for something tasty. Moonlight Sessions are lighting up Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, with DJs taking you from dinner through to late-night dancing.

All the usual weekly favourites are here too: £15 cheeseburger + pint every day, £2 oysters + 2-4-1 cocktails every Wed, £6 margaritas every Thurs, and dancing late every Friday and Saturday.

Rain outside, drool-worthy food, top-tier cocktails and tasteful tunes inside.

Come on down x

Hey folks. In the run up to Mirror Moves #3, let's take a moment to shine the spotlight on each artist who, this weekend, will be blessing @hoxtoncabin with their selections (and say a few words about how they made their way into our hearts and on the line up).

First up: Alfaz from Salotto Sounds 🛋️

After a bunch of virtual interactions, we first met Bangladeshi-Italian selector @alfaznrl at a @table_from_three event at @sjq_dalston and, maybe also thanks to our shared Italian origins, we immediately found a common ground. We had already taken notice of his @salottosounds because of the inclusiveness and high quality of their line ups (offering sets from the likes of @dj_himitsu and @lauren_beavis) but only decided to get in touch after our friend @alyssdiscs (bless this woman, really) had joined one of their events. After that first meeting, we invited him to play at Kings Arms E2 and, boy, he did deliver so it was decided that Mirror Moves needed him.

As a DJ, he's well-known for groove-led vinyl sets blending House, Garage and Disco with 90s Tech flair; although this time around there's no wax involved, the knowledge of tunes and the mastery remains so be ready to shake a leg.

His set will be from 9 to 10 PM at The Bar (on the ground floor, which is FREE ENTRY).

A little preview of what’s spinning at the pub on 1st May.

Alfaz and Tom Ayres are bringing Salotto Sounds to life—a night dedicated to soulful, groove-led music that actually says something.
Whether you’re here for the hypnotic build of the early sets or the soaring vocal house later in the night, the energy is always intentional.

See you on the 1st!
