The story God is writing through the life of @jayxplayboi is so cool! He surrendered his life to Jesus on a Wednesday. Came to church on Sunday. Plugged into discipleship that following Wednesday and then helping baptize and praying over people the Sunday after that.

Not even 3 full weeks since being saved and already growing in the word and deed. I cannot wait to see all that God is going to do in this young man’s life. He is a leader and has a heart of gold.

With God all things are possible. Your whole life, your wants, desires and motivations can all shift in a moment. When you meet the man Jesus your life doesn’t look the same.

Here’s what’s burdening my heart: in 2025, 55% of Millennial men attended church in the past week. Only 38% of Millennial women did. And among parents, 41% of married dads attend weekly compared to 30% of married moms (Barna, 2025).

The women who once carried the spiritual life of the church are quietly stepping out.

Some of us overcorrected. We ran from the spirit of feminism, but we’re still operating in control, just inside our homes. We made managing everything the mission, when Jesus called us to make disciples with our kids in tow.

And then there’s the lie of later.
“When the kids are older.”
“When life slows down.”
“When it’s a better season.”

Later never comes. You were made to be fully alive now. 🪩

Courtney and I are both moms and both in ministry, and we want to invite you to live alive. Come for the worship, the dance party, and the vision for the next season of your life.

📍 Technicolor Live is this Thursday, Friday and Saturday
🎟️ still a few spots left (Jessi-green.com)

Tag the mom friend who needs this and plan the girls weekend. 💛 let me know if you’ll be in the room 💖

“ The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up. Since all these things are thus in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities, While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will flare and melt with fire?
But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.”
2 Peter 3:9-14 NLT

This was us ( only it’s really not what we looked like back in the 70’s exactly). Jesus has always been our reason… and we have always been in agreement about that through the years . Many things we did not agree on 🤣 but Jesus was always a big yes! And now. Here in NC @saltchurches I have never before seen a move like this. Come on! I just had to say I’m so excited to see what’s coming! God is SO good!

You’ve been brought into a family. Not just a life of religious observance, but brought near to God by the Blood of Christ.

We’re so thankful for @peterklouis being a friend of the house @saltchurches

i want to cry listening to this - our church worshipping so hard you can hear their voices picked up on the mics. 😭

worship at @saltchurches was crazy today. hearing the sound of joy and adoration of the Lord break out into the room as our entire church body worshipped… i need more than just the crying emoji to express the feeling. Worship itself is fun, but worship when the whole body is in unity in lifting their praise—there’s absolutely nothing like it.

our church loves and honors @hillsong @hillsongworship @darlenezschech
