I’ve been asked before “how are you so full of energy and joy all the time?”
It’s the Lord. The joy of the Lord.

The reason I am here today, the reason I still have hope, the reason I am a new creation it’s all because of the Lord.

Almost 4 years ago I met the Lord. He met me where I was. I was broken, I was hurting, I felt abandoned, I felt unlovable. But the Lord showed me how incredibly wrong I was.

He has never left me and never will. He has always loved me and always will.

“Jesus christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” - Hebrews 13:8

Someone told me once that “it won’t heal unless a doctor touches it” and that has been running in my head ever since.

Jesus is my doctor. He is my savior. My healer. He has brought me out of countless amounts of shame and guilt and pain. The pain of loss, the pain of death, the pain of pride. Jesus brought me out of it all.

When I gave my life to Christ I was finally admitting that I needed someone bigger than myself. I needed the creator of all. I needed someone else to save me, I couldn’t do it myself, no matter how hard I tried… and I tried a lot.

Learning that ALL of my sins, ALL of my hurt, ALL of my shame, was and is COVERED by the blood of Jesus was, wow. And learning that he died for 100% of my sins not just the little ones, the big ones too, wow.

How do we have a creator who loves us so much to send his one and only son down to live a perfect life then take OUR PLACE on the cross and die for us. AND THEN rise again on the third day. All so that we could have a restored relationship with God our Father.
AND on top of that, he call me HIS DAUGHTER. He call us HIS CHILDREN. I am his and he is mine.

“Take heart Daughter your faith has made you well.” - Jesus (Matthew 9:22)

Jesus tells this to the woman with a blood issue who pushed through a whole crowd just to touch the hem of his garment. And when she touched JUST the hem of his garment, she was healed. Fully. She had so much faith that all she needed was to touch him, and she was healed. Imagine that.

Now we get to live in his presence with the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us. And all we have to do is CHOOSE to believe in him and we are
