POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Coming back to NYC meant revisiting the places and people I fell in love with when I first experienced the city — including @roome_newyork 🎀

I love getting to know the people behind the places I adore. Once you know their stories, you see how intentional every detail is and appreciate it even more.

When I first visited, they were Broome, fittingly on Broome St. I shot an all-denim @danz_nyc look (9) Returning to play dress-up felt so special!

It was also my assistant Roselyn’s first day! Her favorite was the pink dress (2) we loved it so much we came back to shoot it 💗

This time, I finally met @danicazheng_ , ROOME’s founder, and @s0ft.thug , who leads social and influencer relations, after chatting with Isabell through DMs! She’s just as sweet in person as online — the kind of connection that keeps me coming back 🦋

Danica started with her own line, @danz_nyc, and featured her Parsons friends so they could support each other as emerging designers.

When I first came to NYC, my friends helped me find my footing. Now those same friends are helping me again. Danica and I talked about supporting each other’s dreams while growing alongside one another. 🦋

A sweet connection: my first look (1) is from @saltedmuse_, whose founder Danica met when they were both starting their brands. Danica had brunch with her last weekend! 🎀

ROOME reminded me of what I’ve always loved about NYC — connection, creativity, individuality, and people who want to see each other succeed. I’m wearing @tulafaye (3) an emerging designer Danica supports by sharing customer feedback on fit and wearability, helping their pieces evolve.

So grateful to Danica for welcoming me into her world. It’s beautiful seeing how something that began with her own designs and friendships has blossomed into a space that uplifts so many emerging creatives. It reminded me that some of the most meaningful things we build aren’t just about our individual dreams, but the people we bring along with us (7) 🦋

Knowing the stories behind these looks made wearing them even more special. A Kate Moss-inspired @danz_nyc look is next — can’t wait to share with you guys x
