Five years into Fatherhood, Five months into being a Family of Five, and incredibly thankful for all of it 💙 #thankfulthursday

“How do you do it with three?” With teamwork, a whole lot of love, some really long days and really short nights, with giving each other grace, and most importantly with reminding ourselves that these are the days we’re going to miss someday!

You can hit every workout, eat perfectly, and still feel off.

Because the biggest thing impacting your health might not be your routine—it might be your relationships.

We spend a lot of time talking about workouts, nutrition, sleep, and supplements—and those things matter. They’re the foundation of a healthy lifestyle.

But what if one of the biggest influences on your health isn’t in your kitchen or the gym?

It’s the people you surround yourself with.

Healthy relationships help regulate your nervous system. They make you feel safe, supported, and connected. They lower stress, help you navigate hard seasons, and remind you that you’re not meant to do life alone.

On the flip side, constant conflict, loneliness, or being around people who don’t align with your values can leave your body feeling like it’s always in survival mode, and no amount of “perfect nutrition” can fully offset that.

Your health is about more than just calories and workouts.

It’s about how you feel.
Who you surround yourself with.
Who you can laugh with.
Who you can lean on.

And if you don’t currently have that kind of support in your life, it doesn’t mean you’re stuck there. You can find it. You can build it. Being part of a community that shares your goals, values, and desire to grow can make all the difference.

That’s why we believe coaching isn’t just about fitness, it’s about connection, support, and surrounding yourself with people who are working toward the same kind of life you are.

Take care of your body… but don’t forget to take care of your relationships too.

Because a healthy life isn’t just about living longer,it’s about living happier. ❤️

Happy 5th Birthday to our best boy Atlas 🎂 We love you more than words could ever express.

Over the past five years, we’ve done our best to help you begin living up to your name by showing you the world. Together we’ve explored New York, Florida, Toronto, Istanbul, Paris, Florence, Spain, Morocco, Dominican Republic and it’s still merely the beginning of your amazing lifelong journey.

What makes us most proud of you though is who you’re naturally becoming as a great young man. Your kind heart, your confidence to do things yourself, your endless curiosity that leads to a million questions, your determination to be great at everything you try, and the joy you bring to everyone around you. You literally lift up the world! 🌎

Now, if you could share some of that already profound wisdom with your two little brothers so they grow up just like you, we’d really appreciate it ☺️ we love you son, Happy Birthday! 🎂

Happy 9 Year Wedding Anniversary to Us ❤️ two soulmates with a vision of the life we once only dreamed of building together while navigating a long distance relationship. We dreamed of one day moving from FaceTime to actual face time. We imagined living in one of the best buildings in Chicago, and have now spent 8 of these 9 amazing years calling it home.

We daydreamed about traveling the world together, and have since explored more than 25 beautiful cities. We talked about building a family, and today those dreams have since become real with the addition of our 3 boys. From husband and wife, to Mama and Papa, to a Family of Five.

Here’s to the memories we’ve made, all the chapters still waiting to be written, and to these young kids in the picture making the most of this one great life we’ve been gifted 🥂 SalJon Forever & Always 💙

Welcome to the world, Roman & Kenzo 🤍 (A story about how your names came to be)

First, I must acknowledge @salzss though defying the odds to deliver you both here. From the very beginning, this journey asked for complete faith with being a high risk pregnancy carrying mono-di twins (two babies sharing only one placenta) 🤯, meant we lived week by week, milestone by milestone.

At first, the Doctor shared that reaching 28 weeks would be a huge victory. Then we made it to 32 weeks, another blessing. At 34 weeks, we began to really feel momentum shift in our favor. And then at 36 weeks, nearly full term for twins, and Mama carrying almost 12 pounds of babies with pure strength, lots of heartburn and lots of resilience, truly defied expectations delivering our boys at exactly 36 weeks!

Being born earlier than expected, our Boys did need to spend the past 9 & 11 days respectively in the NICU, for anyone who has gone through that experience, I now see you and feel you! ❤️‍🩹

How we landed on both Roman (Baby A) & Kenzo (Baby B) as they were referred to early on. Roman’s name was inspired by Rome, the first ever city Sally and I visited together as a couple back in 2015. A trip that really set the tone for a life of shared exploration and making travel a must for us & our family, this came with a strong consensus that Baby A is Roman, our little boy Rome!

Kenzo was a different story, for Baby B we had a super long list of names, and we were having a hard time landing on one. We consulted many people, heard many other great names, but we took a step back and let his name came to be. Kenzo means “Strong & Healthy.” At nearly every ultrasound, Baby B was always just trailing slightly behind in metrics. We continued to watch closely, remaining patient and hopeful until finally one appointment gave us our lightbulb moment. We asked how Baby B was doing this week, and the Doctor said, “Wow he has caught up and even passed Baby A, he is looking very “strong and healthy.” Sally and I looked at each other and instantly said that’s Kenzo! His name revealing itself exactly when it was meant to. Welcome to this great big world, Roman & Kenzo!
