Finally got to close out the competition season (and with a Diamond for her solo!)
An empty auditorium, temperature checks, face masks and what would normally be 3 days crammed into 3 hours. It was a weird one, but seeing them get to cheer each other on one more time made me cry all the happy tears. 😭🥰

On Wednesdays we wear pink. And on Sundays, we rent out a whole theater to watch Mean Girls....and call it social distancing when we sit as far away from our crazy kids as possible 🤪

Rented a house with a pool and a fishing pier, so the only things on our to do list this week are "swim", "fish", and "repeat."

When dance pics (and recital, and competitions, and classes....) get caught up in COVID, you gotta improvise with your friends 🥰

Thank you to @yourstoryimagesia for a fun morning!

Some fishin' last week. Inshore fishing off Sanibel and some creepy fish we caught off our pier. 🐟

Oh, 2020. 🙄😂 Watching Sam win her first category award for a solo! Not presented on stage, but from some guy's apartment in LA. 😭

Proud of her hard work, and her ability to roll with the punches. It may not always look like we want it to, but sometimes our new normal is still pretty great. 💃

Normal life: putting on a pretty dress and going to brunch downtown
Quarantine life: mimosas and Target croissants with a weirdo in a Minion robe 🤪
