We’re gassed to welcome Sam Suffit (@sam__suffit__) to the Brick Sweat Records roster for our next release️. A low-key producer who you might wanna keep an eye on 👁️

Rooted in 90s hip hop and shaped by Antwerp’s early 2000s techno scene, Sam has long been immersed in electronic subcultures. After years of digging vinyl, he began producing just two years ago, channelling his broad influences into a sound that’s both playful and hard-hitting.

His forthcoming 5-track EP flows across electro, techno and house continuum. From the wobbly opener “Starting Up Again” to the glitchy minimalism of “Juice of Sapho” and the electro breaks of “Speed Warning”, the release captures an artist with good depth and momentum.

Beyond this alias, Sam also explores his lifelong passion for hardcore and gabber as ‘Christelle Meth’, with a recent mini-album and more on the way.

The full EP drops 5th September – premieres incoming 👀

Back in April we invited @sam__suffit__ for our monthly residency at the @we_are_various radio booth in @witzli.poetzli.

It's a public secret that this Antwerpian magician keeps a wide arsenal of unreleased self-produced bombs up his sleeve. Those who had the chance to dig through his collection, know that he's got a knack for picking out the right sample, always accompanied by the slickest grooves.

These features shine through in his track selection for this one hour podcast, in which he also proves his ability to skillfully blend it all together. Safe to say we're happy he accepted our invitation!

Slide through some of snippets and check out the full mix on our soundcloud (link in bio). ❤️

Last gabbers on the bill? None other than our very own Christelle Meth & Jack Seller teaming up for a B2B set.

Forget the Antwerp 10 Miles on Sunday! Real speed demons are doing 190 BPM-fueled miles on Saturday at Kale Koppe.
Why run laps with amateurs when you can hak with bald heads all night long?
