My editing + settings 🤝 Austin’s composition
somehow turned into the perfect moody cliff-jumping photos

still not used to being the one in front of the camera though. @austin_duke_405 📸

I wish I could say 2025 was “my year”..

Actually scratch that— I’m LUCKY to say it wasn’t my year, because it was hers.
and honestly for the first time in my 20 years of life I’m not going into the new year crossing my fingers, hoping that this one will finally be “my year”. (truthfully I don’t think any of them will be ever again…)

This past year I’ve had to grieve the pieces of myself that have changed, those that I may never get back, and the versions of myself I may never get to meet. But the sweet reason for these changes has taught me how to not only accept the version of myself that stretched and grew and changed and nurtured and loved, but TO nurture and love the parts of myself that I’m still learning.

Any and every fragment of myself, my mind, and my body that I haven’t always loved somehow built the only thing in the world that I see no flaw in— my daughter.

If I’m being honest, this has been the most stressful, emotional, exhausting, emotionalLY exhausting, painful, and overall just the most challenging year of my life. But I mean it in my bones when I say that it has also been the most joy-filled, selfless-loving, eye opening, earth shattering, thank-you-Jesus, I’m-so-happy-to-be-alive kind of year that I truly think I’ll ever expirience.

So the last minutes of 2025 weren’t spent praying that 2026 would be “my year”, because I know it won’t be.

It truly is a privilege to be able to say that because I know it’ll be OURS.

hey chat, check “operation: make delaware summer lit again” off of my to-do list.

a brief briefing:

generational summer. the barn was lit. got to experience a powerful move of the Holy Spirit in my hometown. re-learned how to backflip. taught the friend group how to backflip. received at least 7 silent football punishments. developed a somewhat toxic addiction to the summer i turned pretty. personally i think jeremiah and conrad should just move on and find someone better than belly.

kinda tired of typing, just ask me more about my summer next time i see u.
