It’s hard to believe my high school soccer career is officially over. I always knew this day would come, but I don’t think I ever realized how hard it would be to walk off that field for the last time.

I’m beyond proud of this team and everything we accomplished together. More than anything, I’m thankful I got to spend my last season playing alongside such a great group of guys. The practices, bus rides, wins, losses, laughs, and all the little moments in between are memories I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.

Soccer has been such a big part of my high school years, and it’s crazy knowing I’ll never put on a St. Croix Falls jersey and step onto that field as a player again. I wouldn’t trade these years, these memories, or this team for anything.

Thank you to my teammates, coaches, family, and everyone who supported us along the way. I’m proud of how we finished, but even more proud of the people we became along the way.

I spent so many years thinking there would always be another practice, another game, another time putting on that jersey. Then suddenly, there wasn’t.

One day the scoreboard will be forgotten, the wins and losses will fade, and someone else will wear our numbers. But I’ll never forget the guys who stood beside me, the memories we made, and what it meant to represent St. Croix Falls.

I’d give anything for one more game with this group.

For the last time, thank you SCF Soccer. ❤️⚽️

The season ended. The memories never will.
