POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Allow me to introduce the remarkable human being and author that is Sam Livermore. The t-shirt she’s wearing isn’t just for style—but a representation of her legend here on earth. In 2012, Sam begun leaving notes for strangers in the hospital while she was there for treatment of her chronic illness. These notes evolved into enveloped letters for people around her to adore and read.

✮

This initial impulse grew into a great movement in the local community named SHARE THE LOVE, hence the tee! The activity has permeated into festivals and events with the aim of encouraging others to write a warm letter to a perfect stranger.

✮

Her book, 100 Letters to a Stranger, is a collection of some of these precious letters exchanged in the last few years. Read them and feel the love that was shared between two individuals who expressed the best parts of their humanity on a piece of paper.

@sharetheloveletters will be with us from 5pm tomorrow night for our LGBTIQ+ Homelessness Recovery Group. This project is so moving. We recognise the importance of letter writing, receiving letters from all of you to give to our guests at Christmas & Valentines Day. This project writes love letters and scatters them in the world all year round. It’s really beautiful. #sharethelove #lgbtiqcommunitycentre #soberspace #homelesslgbtiqsolidarity

Such a lovely evening with @sam_gladiator_of_love ...I love spending time with true friends and diving into deep conversations...no shallowness in my world.
I had lunch with online connection Leah R. Dixon but we were so caught up in deepness that we didn't take a selfie 😬🥰 (it did happen! 😅)
Vegan Passion fruit cheesecake truly was the cherry on top!

A collection of the That Guy’s House authors, with founder @Sean patrickparker delivering a panel debate at this years Mind, Body Spirit London Well-being Festival. ⁣
⁣
The topic; is spirituality good for your mental health? ⁣
⁣
At That Guy’s House we believe that it is! Actively taking part in spiritual practice daily will transform your mind (and brain) and create an outlook on life that can only be wonderful for your mental health. ⁣
⁣
Check our Kamran Bedi’s Book, 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 (That Guy’s House, 2018) for more information and tools on mental health.

I recently took park in a panel talk in London with my publisher ⁣@thatguyshouse
⁣
The question was; Is spirituality good for your mental health? ⁣
⁣
I believe that it is; being open and available to the eternal broadcast and small still voice will literally change your mind from a place where there was lack to a place where there is prosperity. In Spirit all things are possible and that includes perfect mental wellness. ⁣
⁣
What are your thoughts? ⁣
