Well dang, these past 5 years have truly been such a blessing, When I was first asked to join cheer the summer of 8th grade going into 9th, I thought it was absolutely insane for a boy to be on the cheer team and that there was no way i would join it, so what did i do… I joined it, because what’s the worst that could happen? Well- I was bullied pretty much my whole 9th and 10th grade years, that wasn’t so fun but those first 2 years were some of the best years of my life, i took a huge leap into a sport i knew nothing about, but the one thing i noticed, is how accepted i was by the team when i joined. Acceptance I never truly felt before, I tried basketball and football, but nothing could amount to the joy and fun I had from cheering. These past 5 years i’ve been able to travel more than i thought i ever could because of cheer, I always hated when the seniors on the team would say something like don’t take it for granted because you’re gonna blink and it will be over, well i took it for granted and i blinked real hard, and here i am. I have made so many loving friends, and connections i will forever be grateful for. Cheer isn’t just a sport, it was truly a family, a family that loved you whole heartily, my boy Sam Knapp was there with me thick and thin, and i’m beyond grateful for him- I started and ended cheer with that boy. Susan Hunter my first cheer coach, coached the heck out of me and i couldn’t be more grateful for the lessons she was able to teach me through cheer and just life, Morgan Preston was my second coach, also ridiculously grateful for her, as she stepped up to take on a huge role, but was nothing short of an amazing Coach. And then Coach Nicholas, Although he only coached me for 1 year, he has made a huge impact not only in my cheer but in life, forever grateful for him. Although stepping away is hard, With lots and lots and lots of praying, God made it easy. But man i’m going to miss Cheer, But I know God has bigger plans for me and wants me to succeed in what I do, So as anyone should, I full heartily trust him. Thank you to everyone who has followed along all these years. Till next time❤️

This place when I first came I didn’t know Jesus I was filled with depression and anxiety and to now where I now know Jesus and my depression and anxiety has since left.
