Senior Sunday and Goodbye football. #seniorsunday

I wanted to start off by thanking the Lord for blessing me with the opportunity to play the sport I love with so many great people.
This is a very bitter sweet moment for me because I’m not only saying goodbye to a sport I love but it’s also marking a new chapter in my life. I am grateful that I got to have one extra game and to know when my final game would be even though it didn’t have the outcome I wished for it was still a great experience. With that being said thank you to my mom and dad for the continued support while I was playing football and thank you to all the coaches that helped me along the way. I also wanted to thank all of the teammates I’ve had throughout my 6 years of playing. Thank you to all the lessons that I’ve been taught from coaches, teammates, parents, and the Lord. And finally thank you to everyone who has supported me and will continue to support me as I go onto a new chapter in my life.

BPA Senior State Qualifiers were presented their honor cords at PHS CTE Awards Night on May 4. BPA also awarded two local scholarships to two four-year members- Tanner McDougal and Maribel Cerrillo - for their dedication and commitment to the ideals of BPA.
