Samael - Rebellion While I love the first two albums of Samael, the one I listened to the most has to be Passage. Rebellion is the stepping stone from Ceremony Of Opposites to Passage. I always thought (the song) Rebellion was good but not great, the modernist versions of After The Sepulture and Into The Pentagram unnecessary and the cover of Alice Cooper fun. I really like the synth track Static Journey. This is one of those songs I know by heart and I long for the time when I knew a lot of music to the extent that you knew how the next song starts when a song finishes. There was simply less music and more attention when listening. Nowadays I really enjoy every song of this EP. I like listening to short albums (EP’s, demo’s, whatever) on repeat. Better short and sweet than long and tedious. That being said, it’s probably more a problem of my attention span than anything else. I do enjoy long slabs of music like the new Neurosis or Krallice albums. Those darn modern day first world problems. #samael #rebellion #nowspinning #nowlistening #blackmetalcollection

DEAR SAMAEL FANS! 🤘 We’ve got a little proposition for you. A perfectly innocent one, at least on the surface. We’re planning to put together a few Samael live videos, and we’d love you to be part of the project! If you’ve ever been to a Samael gig and managed to capture even a few moments of it, WE WANT YOUR VIDEO FOOTAGE! It doesn’t matter whether it was filmed this year, five, ten or even twenty years ago. In fact, the older the footage, the more interested we are! And no, you don’t need to have been standing in the front row. Quite the opposite! **The more different angles and perspectives we can get, the better!** Whether you were right at the barrier, somewhere in the middle of the crowd or lurking at the back with a beer in your hand, we want to see it. We’ll take care of the footage filmed from the stage ourselves 😉 Landscape videos are preferred, but we won’t turn our noses up at portrait ones either. Everyone’s entitled to make questionable decisions now and then. As for the quality? Well, let’s be reasonable. If you filmed a gig back in 2006 on something that now barely qualified as a mobile phone, and the picture looks like a live broadcast from Mars during a sandstorm, WE STILL WANT IT! We’re not just looking for perfect shots. We’re looking for memories, atmosphere, different perspectives and little pieces of Samael’s history that you’ve managed to capture over the years. If you’ve got footage you’d like to contribute, please get in touch with us via private message or email: dorota@samaelunitedforces.com So have a rummage through your old hard drives, phones and forgotten folders. You might be sitting on something that deserves a considerably better fate than another twenty years buried in a folder called „New Folder (3)”. And if you know someone who might have footage, please share this post! After all, forty years of Samael deserve to be remembered from every possible angle. Even if some of those angles were filmed with approximately seven pixels and a potato. 😉

A selection of stuff I have neglected for a little while. I had lost interest in most things Black Metal but I 'm now ready to get back to it. Glad I kept these killer CDs in my collection. . #arckanum #darkfuneral #lordbelial #samael #aeternus

📻 NOISECAST odcinek 58: PODAJ DYSKOGRAFIĘ - SAMAEL feat. Tomasz Krajewski (Pagan Records) i Michał Spryszak (Ropień, Fobos Magazine) 🌑 Samael zawsze cieszył się w naszym kraju szczególną popularnością i poważaniem. 🌑 Zapraszamy do wysłuchania naszej rozmowy o dyskografii Samael.

Tomasz Krajewski (Pagan Records) i Michał Spryszak (Ropień, Fobos Magazine) JUŻ DOSTĘPNY NA PATRONITE🔊🔊🔊 🌑 Trzydzieści pięć lat temu, kiedy młodzieńcy z Norwegii dopiero przymierzali się do porzucenia death metalu, album "Worship Him" otworzył bramy piekła. "Blood Ritual" umościł Szwajcarów na blackmetalowym tronie, "Ceremony of Opposites" uchylił im drzwi do popularności a "Passage" zabrał nas wszystkich w kosmos. Poźniej... Bywało różnie. 🌑 Nie ulega jednak wątpliwości, że Samael wielkim, ważnym i wpływowym zespołem jest - zwłaszcza w Polsce, gdzie od lat mają rzeszę wiernych fanów. Czas więc omówić dorobek twórców "Into the Pentagram", jeśli chcecie jej posłuchać już dziś, zapraszamy into the Patronite. 🌑 Do rozmowy zaprosiliśmy Michała Spryszaka, wokalistę zespołu Ropień, redaktora naczelnego FOBOS Magazine oraz Tomasza Krajewskiego - założyciela Pagan Records a onegdaj zawiadowcę polskiego fan klubu Samael. 🌑 Jeśli wspieracie nas na Patronite od odpowiedniego progu, mamy dla Was część dodatkową a w niej rozmowę o starym, mrocznym metalu ze Szwajcarii, czyli o Sadness, Misery, Mordor i Alastis.
