Jayson Tatum added children’s book author to his résumé this week! “Baby Dunks-a-Lot” is about a baby who, well, dunks a lot. His incredible talent makes him a top NBA recruit and a hilarious tale ensues…

The story has wonderfully whimsical illustrations by Parker-Nia Gordon. 🏀📚 The cover of Jayson Tatum’s first children’s book, “Baby Dunks-a-Lot” featuring an illustration of a baby going up for a dunk.

In our house we have some huge basketball fans! My boys loved unboxing and especially reading these ones because they were excited to have books with some of their favorite players names on them!

@jaytatum0 co-authored Baby Dunks-a-Lot with @samapplebooks It’s an adorable story about a baby not being allowed to play in the game but once everyone realizes “Baby can dunk!” they have a change of heart. My boys want to read this one on repeat! From the details in the illustrations to the moments we laughed out loud we all enjoyed this story! Thank you @abramskids for sending us a copy to read, share, enjoy and review.

@stephencurry30 is the subject of the new graphic novel series Sports Superheroes that is packed with fiction and fact. It’s a fantastic book to hook all kids, even those that may not love the game of basketball; it’s really a book for everyone! It will excite readers that there are some superhero elements, a focus on Stephen Curry’s origin story and they may even learn some new facts about this dynamic bball player. Thank you @penguinkids for sending us a copy to read, enjoy, share and review.

Both books are stories are about grit, perseverance, determination and a growth mindset. Out now pick them up from your local #indiebookstore
